Date for the 2021 Demolition Derby is August 7, 2020.
We will be doing online ticket sales again this year! Ticket sales open on July 1, 2021. They can be accessed through the Carbon County Fairgrounds website, or the Platte Valley Community Center website.
Admission Price is $18 for adults, $12 kids
General Information and Driver Entry
All Drivers and Pit Crew must be 18 years of age or older. NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 WILL BE ALLOWED THROUGH THE CONTESTANT GATE!
No 1973 or older Chrysler Imperials, No 1973 or older LeBarons, No Ambulances, No Hearses, No Sedagons, or No Limousines allowed.
Drivers may enter each heat but must have a different car for each heat entered.
All entry fees must be paid by the entry deadline. The entry fee is Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per vehicle entered, and must accompany the entry form.
Drivers and Pit Crew will be issued wrist bands for crew identification which must be displayed at all times. Anyone in the pit area without proper identification will be removed from the area by uniformed officers. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE is ALLOWED IN THE PITS THAN DRIVERS, PIT CREW AND OFFICIALS. THIS RULE WILL BE ENFORCED!
Drivers must complete the information required on the entry form and sign the release of liability form. Pit crew liability forms must be signed by the listed pit crew and turned in at the same time. All drivers must attend the drivers meeting before the derby.
All cars will be inspected one (1) hour after entering the pit area. After the inspection all cars will be impounded until fifteen (15) minutes prior to the start of the drawn heat. This is to ensure fairness to all drivers.
Only drivers will be acknowledged by Officials regarding the derby. Pit crew and fans requests will be denied.
